About 40 minutes later he came back to the group of 5 kids and 2 adults and sat on Dave's shoe! Now we figure this little guy is trying to tell us that he needs help...so here he is, after we realized that he wasn't ferocious, sleeping in the palm of Dave's hand...
Dave did some research and found how to care for an orphaned squirrel, so here I am feeding him milk from a medicine dropper. He's living in the aquarium with old t-shirts to snuggle in.
We're taking turns feeding him, supposedly, they eat every six hours, but this little guy is eating more than that.
It's not permanent, we're just going to take care of him until he can live on his own. And it's a good thing we brought him in, I found a baby raccoon TAIL in our porch this morning!!! (yes, just his tail, we haven't seen the rest of the unfortunate animal anywhere!)

Bad Pumpkin. Maybe she's why this baby is an orphan. Gosh, it's not like we don't feed her cat food!
